Make the car FiveM-ready
Drop the car just as you downloaded it from gta5-mods or LCPDFR. You get back a resource that is ready for the server.
- Free, no credits
- It all happens in your browser. The car is never uploaded.
How it works
Drop the pack
ZIP, RAR, 7z, OIV or dlc.rpf, just as it came. Archives inside archives are unpacked too.
ModFiveM sorts and fixes
The files go into stream and data, a new fxmanifest.lua is written and faults that hide the car from others are fixed.
Download and start
Unzip it in resources, add ensure to server.cfg and restart the server.
What ModFiveM takes care of
What usually breaks a downloaded car on a server.
dlc.rpf unpacked
The car is taken out of dlc.rpf and vehicles.rpf, no OpenIV needed.
A new fxmanifest.lua
The meta files load in the right order, and old __resource.lua and single-player files are left out.
Missing seats
A seat layout with seats the model lacks hides the car from others. The car gets a layout of its own.
Duplicates
The same file twice, or a _hi.yft that is the .yft again, is taken once.
The car’s name
The pack’s name is set with AddTextEntry, so the car is not called NULL in the game.
Textures too large
If the car is too large for others to load, its textures are made 2048 px.
